From Spooky to Sparkly – Centurion Week 2

For the last month I changed the site's colours from the standard blue and green to orange and purple, since it was October. This isn't the only scheduled transformation I've had for this site, as I've previously made it gold for both the first anniversary and centurion (100th post), and I've thought about doing that for every anniversary and multiple of 100th post after.

Well, as it turns out, yesterday's post was my 199th, so immediately after the first spooky period was meant to be up, it's time for the third sparkly period to celebrate my 200th post! Hooray!

It took me 239 days to reach 100 posts, and it took me 265 days after that to reach 200 posts. Over a third of those posts are my weeklies, and they have definitely helped me keep a decent rhythm for writing which I think is very good, as there are several stretches of time where I wouldn't have written anything at all if it weren't for these updates. Also a lot of these have been some of my longest posts ever, so I think it's alright. Generally I'd say I've gotten better and more comfortable at writing!

That's about it for this post, honestly! Similar to the last one, there isn't really much I can say, except I will add that despite me still calling it Centurion Week, I think I'll keep the gold around for 2 weeks like I did with the anniversary, just because. You can call it Gold Fortnight if you really want to, I guess. Anyways, enjoy!
