Took Me Long Enough
As of today, July 2nd, 2026, at 1:11 AM UTC (Still July 1st for me), I have finally 100%'d Portal 2, as in I finally completed all of its achievements!
For almost a year I've had only 50 of its 51 achievements, with the last achievement I got before this being on July 14th of last year. This is because the one achievement I had left, Professor Portal, required me to complete the co-op tutorial with somebody who has never played the game before, which is a very hard task, as most people in the co-op spaces are people who have played before — naturally.
After almost a year of trying to coordinate with any of my friends to play it with no avail, I agreed with my sister Andy to buy her the game during this Summer Sale, and quickly play it with her to finally get the achievement! And today we finally did it!
There isn't really a lot more to say about this. Unlike other, more interesting achievements I've talked about before, this one is pretty basic, and pretty much based on luck. More than anything, I am just happy I get to finally be done with this, and be able to include this game amongst the games I've 100% completed, along with Half-Life 2 and, of course, its predecessor, as I've done with most of my other favourite games of all time.

Also, Happy Canada Day, and happy start of the second half of the year!
Good luck!
