xXWeekly_UpdateXx – EyeSpark Weekly (July 24, 2026)

This is my 20th weekly update!! I haven't missed one since I started yet, even though I think it's fine if I do, so this has really been a good habit for me.

Just like last week, although I haven't written much (aside from my Game Changer review), I have been slowly working on other projects, including some things that I plan to share in posts soon! Specifically I am solidifying my ideas for the next Bit City post, and I also did something very cool for some other NimbleBit games, though I am still polishing it and I'll share it when it's ready.

I've also continued with my file space management, and it's going very well, I've pretty much sorted through everything that is in my main folders! I also want to share a quick thing that I've been wanting to do since it was announced that I've finally been able to: I changed my Gmail account's main address! Google announced this feature a while ago, but I only got access to it earlier this week, and I'm very glad they did it, as I now have an address I'm more comfortable using online while keeping all my things! If you have a Gmail address you don't like, I highly suggest you check this out.

Anyways, onto the media I've engaged with! There isn't actually a lot of it, but I think that's fine.

This technically happened last week, but I got around to watching it after. Mapocolops, a YouTuber who has some of my favourite playthroughs of Valve games out there (among others), recently did a livestream playing through the entire Henry Stickmin collection, and as the Flash Game aficionado I am (seriously how have I barely written any posts about them) this made me very happy to see!

Speaking of livestreams, this happened even earlier and I somehow only caught it a few days ago, but Markiplier did a livestream replaying Five Nights at Freddy's 2, as some accusations of him cheating in the 10/20 mode have come about, and it turns out they were right! I love Markiplier, and I love the classic FNAF games, and I am very happy he found an excuse to play one of them again.

Lastly, this is more of a general channel recommendation, but since it appears my James Bond obsession isn't slowing down any time soon, I found the channel of Calvin Dyson and I really like his stuff! I first came across his video on if Maud Adams was actually in A View to a Kill, and from there I just kept watching his stuff, from his rankings on Bond villains, girls, and theme songs, to his reviews of entire movies. If you're interested in James Bond stuff I highly suggest checking him out.

Not a lot of other things to share, those video essays and livestreams did take up a lot of my attention, but here's the miscellaneous stuff!

James Turner of LoadingReadyRun shared some photos he took on his recent trip to Iceland, and they are very pretty! As I've cleaned through my files and photos I've also been wanting to get better at photography, and stuff like this really inspires me. I also tuned into his Punch-A-Chunk bonus livestream (Wow this week was quite livestream-heavy, huh).

Yesterday jacknjellify officially announced that a remake of BFDIA 5b is in the works! Not that many details have been announced, apparently they're holding out until October, so it'll be a while, but I am quite happy to see that it'll be a community-driven project, as it's being developed by a lot of members of the Object Show Community!

Lastly, I want to share that one of my close friends, MxZephyr, has been doing very cool stuff for ArtFight, a yearly art event where people draw each other's characters! I don't participate in it myself, but I love to see all my friends' art when it happens, and I wanted to share theirs in particular as they've been doing a lot of it. And that's about it! Not the most active of weeks, but still generally a very good one. I am happy with all I've done, and the fact that I've done 20 updates now! Hopefully this 20th installment is better than that other franchise's…
