I did this last time, so I guess I will again!
In about half an hour after this post goes up, the Desert Bus Express 2026 charity subathon will start! A new additional edition to Desert Bus for Hope which is capped at 24 hours, and this year is raising money for the Vancouver-based QMUNITY, a charity which focuses on providing community and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people in need in British Columbia.
They first* did this in May of last year (excluding Rust Proof Bee Shed), and I really enjoyed it, though I didn't get to watch a lot of it as I was on a trip at the time, so I am really glad that they are bringing it back, and I'll be tuned in for as much of it as I can.
If you enjoy watching a fun group of people do a bunch of silly things while playing the most boring video game ever in the background, I highly recommend you tune in as well! Even if you don't donate, it's just a load of fun regardless, and a beacon of positivity I look forward to every year, and that I can now look forward to twice as often!
