20 More, Somehow Even Smaller, Mazes – Review
20 More, Somehow Even Smaller, Mazes is a game made by FLEB that came out just 2 days ago, and is a sequel to one of his previous games, 20 Small Mazes, which I played in late 2024 and absolutely adored. Both games are free on Steam.
This game (plus the original) is quite self explanatory, you just have 20 mazes that you can solve in whatever order you want, and then you win the game! That's it. They are not regular mazes, though, as they all have their own unique mechanics and ways to solve them, they're all sorts of different puzzles!
I won't show them directly as to not spoil the solutions of course, but my personal favourites were the spam pop-up maze where you select X to close, the snake puzzle that was probably the one I struggled with the most but was super satisfying when I got it, the blue tube-like jigsaw puzzle maze, and my absolute favourite is probably the combination safe-like maze. All of them are extremely fun however, and that's the thing I loved the most about this game and the original, all of the mazes are extremely fun to figure out, and they're all extremely unique and clever in their own ways, I love absolutely all of them!
That's pretty much all that matters gameplay wise, but I do want to add that I love this game's look and feel, and I appreciate all of the accessibility settings too! The game is extremely clean, the sound effects and general aesthetic are very nice, and despite some puzzles being kinda hard to grasp at first, it's designed in such a way that you can understand pretty much any of them simply by messing around a little bit. Despite the chaotic nature of having a window with 20 mazes on it, it's still quite clear and intelligible!
Both this game and the original took me around 50 minutes each to complete; I am alright with puzzles, so it may take less or more for you depending on how you are at them. Either way, the game is short and sweet, has an amazing design and very good puzzles that are even better than the first game's in my opinion (though they're both fantastic), and as long as you like puzzles I can highly recommend it! Both this game and the original are definitely worth the short amount of time they take.
