Ultimate NePtunE Mix - My "New" Geometry Dash Level

I have another short post for today, but I think it is extremely worthwhile. Today I started and finished a Geometry Dash level! Though I don't want to take a lot of credit for it, honestly, as it is entirely based on other levels that already exist.

The level is Ultimate NePtunE Mix. This is the longest complete level I have ever made and released, and it took me only about 6 hours to make in total. I thought of the idea yesterday, started making it today, and I verified and released it today! (Also its name was originally gonna be Ultimate Level Mix v2, but it's a character too long)

Now this may sound impressive, but really all of the credit should go to RealSoulDash and NePtunE, who made the whole base of this level. RealSoulDash created Ultimate Level Mix, which is a level from update 1.9 that mashes up parts of all the official levels of the game, and used Ultimate Destruction by TMM43 as its song. Meanwhile NePtunE created (and is probably most famous for) his series of v2 levels, which are remade versions of the game's official levels that have similar gameplay but are much harder.

What this level did was mix them together, taking Ultimate Level Mix and replacing all of its parts with the equivalent part in NePtunE's v2 series. I did have to manually edit them at some points to keep the transitions and all decoration clean, and I did add a bit of my own decorations in the blank parts, but everything else is by RealSoulDash and NePtunE.

By the way, this thumbnail is based on NePtunE's own thumbnails, and is so far the only unique one of my videos. It was quite fun to make!

Anyways, that's pretty much it! I just wanted to share a level that I've actually managed to release and not just keep on the backburner forever. Also I surprisingly did not have any flashbacks to Zobros's Ultimate Demon Mix during this, which is one of the hardest levels I have ever beaten. Really proud of myself for that.
