The Three Tiny Tower Floors That Changed

I have a small post for today. I have been debating whether this would work better as part of a larger post instead, but it feels better this way!

While playing Tiny Tower v1.0, I noticed that one of the floors I had built looked different from how I remembered it. This was the Comic Store, and its only change is that it featured a Batman logo on the top left, which is not there anymore in newer versions.

I somehow hadn't noticed this until now, despite already knowing of two other floors that were similarly changed, those being the Cyber Cafe and Nerd Cave Apts., which both contained Space Invader aliens which were later removed. The Nerd Cave Apts. also featured a Batman logo, similar to the Comic Store, this time above the door.

I knew this had been done at some point, since I noticed in some older videos of the game (most notably for me Good Game's Tiny Power series), but I didn't know when exactly this happened until I decided to find out for myself.

This change happened in version 1.5.3, which was the final update of version 1 of the game (it is labelled as version iOS3.0-(Clutch-2.0.4)-12 on the NimbleBit iPA Collection), and came out on April 30, 2012, according to the wiki. All of these floors were in the game since its release, and they were all changed together in this update.

For archival purposes, here are the original floors next to their changed versions, since I haven't been able to find any high-quality images of them online.

Also, for a fun fact! The original Space Invader aliens were located in the exact same spot in both the Cyber Cafe and the Nerd Cave Apts.

And that's pretty much it! I just wanted to share another bit of Tiny Tower history, just for fun. I am pretty sure there haven't been any other floors that have been changed like this, though I haven't checked further than Version 2.
