Pocket Trains: Status Update 4

I didn't make that much progress in Pocket Trains last week, so I am writing this two weeks after Update 3, just because I have more to actually talk about now! Both in terms of what I have done, and what I have planned.

For the regular statistics update, I am currently in Level 22, having now unlocked two of the four Hybrid trains, and I have finally purchased my sixth and final license, this one being for Oceania! This means I now have access to the entire world map.

With this new license I have built two new railroads, increasing my count to a nice round 20! Also I have switched up some of my trains, exactly as I said I would in the previous update. I haven't made any other changes to pre-existing lines, though.

As for the two new ones, with the Regional Express that used to be on the Persian Prince, I made a line from Kolkata to Kupang in Southeast Asia; and I made a line called the "Island Hopper" from Hong Kong to Adelaide with a Virginia Freighter! My first line with a train from that set.

Now, as for my plans for the future, I actually already have them relatively defined!

This is absolutely not the most optimal way to play, however I do wanna do this just because it seems very fun and it adds some variety to the game, but basically I wanna make my network as varied as possible, specifically by making every single line have its own unique train!

Currently I am almost doing this already, as only two of my lines have a train in common, those being my Sea Striker (Helsinki—Casablanca) and Aurora Borealis (London—Goose Bay) lines, which are both operated by Pumpkin Steamers. I do want to eventually make these run on different trains!

As usual, here is my current fleet for reference.

My current plan is this: I want to build four more lines to have a total of 24, all with different trains, and I want to swap around some of my trains for these as well. To be specific these are the changes and new lines I want to make:

• Swap Sea Striker (Helsinki—Casablanca) to a Century Limited
• Swap Continental Cruiser (Paris—Ürümqi) to a Gila Standard
• Swap Aurora Borealis (London—Goose Bay) to a Peppermint Steamer
• Create Kangaroo line (Perth—Darwin—Sydney) with a Delaware Freighter
• Create Aurora Australis line (Perth—Cristchurch) with a Pumpkin Steamer

There are two more lines I have to make to have a full set of 24. One that I am considering is a line with a Bluebell Steamer (which I will call the Blueberry Steamer, a sister route to the Strawberry Steamer), probably from Atlanta to Caracas, which will also cross my home island. And I want to build another line with a Freighter, but I don't know where I would put that. I'll eventually figure it out, though.

Lastly, I wanna share some of the smaller stuff I've done or accomplished recently!

With how much I've been playing and gathering crates, I have accumulated a decent amount of parts, so I'll be ready to start trading again pretty soon! As I stopped after finally getting all the Pecos and Zettabyte parts that I needed.

And lastly, earlier today I got my 20th Dragonbreath part, meaning I could build my third and final fuel car to have it fully powered up!

And that's pretty much it!

As usual, I am very proud of the steady progress I've made in the game, and am excited to see what I can accomplish next! The next update will be in either 1 or 2 weeks, depending on how much I manage to do, so stay tuned.
