Did Minecraft Once Reference Half-Life?

Today I was binge watching Yahtzee and Gabe's Let's Drown Out videos, and specifically their series on Half-Life: Source, and while watching I got reminded of something very silly that used to be in Minecraft, which might actually be a reference to the game.

There's a chapter in Half-Life called "On A Rail", where you have to travel through Black Mesa's underground rail system.

Now, Minecraft used to have achievements, which were later renamed to "advancements" in version 1.12 and some of them were fully removed. One of the achievements that was not brought back was one you'd get if you travelled a distance of at least 1 km (1,000 Minecraft blocks) via minecart, and this achievement was also named "On A Rail".

Now, this might just be a coincidence, however I am fairly certain that the name of that achievement in Minecraft was directly inspired by that chapter in Half-Life 1. There isn't really any direct evidence for this, but the phrase is very specific and I don't see where else it would come from.

Additionally, this wouldn't be the only achievement that referenced a Valve game. Another achievement was called "The Lie", which you got if you crafted a cake, and is a very blatant reference to Portal.

Neither of these references are still in the game today, but they can still be viewed in older versions! And this specific one is probably one of the best hidden, as I haven't seen anybody else bring this up ever. (Or maybe I'm just overthinking idk)
