Finding The Original Fruit Ninja (HD) Soundtrack
A few days ago I was looking through the files of the mobile games on my 1st Generation iPad, and while looking through the files of Fruit Ninja HD I found a .zip file which contains (I assume) all of the assets of the game.
Pretty much all of the image/texture files I found were in a .tex format which I haven't been able to find how to view properly, but I have been able to access all the sound files in the game, and in one of the folders called "Music" there were three files which contained the three tracks from the game at the time!
(By the way if anybody knows a good way to view .tex texture files, and convert them to .png or some other format, please let me know!)
The files were in .caf (Apple CoreAudio) format which I am fortunately able to access, and so I've decided to share the tracks on my YouTube channel! They've all been uploaded by other people before, but nobody (from what I've been able to find) has uploaded loops of them, so I made them all 1-hour long! This is great for having them in the background, especially if you're someone like me who sometimes listens to a single piece of music on loop for a long period of time.
The Music-dojo file was already a perfect loop, but for the other two I did have to find what the exact looping point was, but fortunately that wasn't too hard. It took a bit of time to find the loop for the background ambience, but I recorded the game audio from the iPad on my phone and used it as a reference to find out from when it should loop!
Here is the link to my YouTube playlist containing all of these loops: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLc_L5u4yltheMrogRMXVNYDpqtqQslbyH
And here is a Google Drive link with the original .caf files: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1taQ2RMiH0Ry6Y4u3L7YPpZ5tCg3WJVaY
By the way you can expect some more Halfbrick stuff very soon!
