Recreating Carykh's Twelve Super-Powerful Tokens
Since I've been (unofficially) speedrunning BFDIA 5b for the past few weeks I've been thinking quite a bit about Win Tokens. In the game, Win Tokens are small collectibles that give an additional optional challenge to each level. Some are hard to find, others are difficult paths, and others require very clever thinking to collect.
Something else that I think about a lot is their specific look. Originally Win Tokens were only around until Episode 12 of Battle for Dream Island, and weren't ever truly seen again in the series until BFDIA 5b, where it underwent a slight design change with a different font, going from Shag Lounge to JasmineUPC. This wasn't the first time this new version was seen, however, as about a month and a half earlier it was shown in carykh's BFDI camp, BAGUETTE.
In Episode 4C a massive change was announced, as Cary officially introduced tokens into the game. Instead of the top three placers in each challenge getting immunity from rounds, from that episode on they got tokens which they could use if they got put up for elimination. The Win Token from BFDI was one of these, but there were also eleven others in total, all with different colours and abilities.

Unfortunately, for the longest time these tokens have been relegated just to BAGUETTE, which has since been cancelled. With the revival of BFDIA some of these tokens have made appearances again (specifically the Swap, Yoyle, and Immunity Tokens), but we don't have any high-quality assets for these aside from the Win Token, as neither the BAGUETTE or new BFDIA files have been shared publicly.
However, I decided that I wanted to change this. Although I don't have access to the original files, I was able to use the Win Token asset from BFDIA 5b, along with some screenshots from the BAGUETTE videos to try my best to recreate all twelve tokens! And I think I did a very good job!

For my main reference I used an image from BAGUETTE 4C that showed all twelve tokens (which the header of this post), which I mostly used to align the text properly, and to get more accurate colours I used the images of when the tokens were being handed out whenever possible. Some of the colours were pretty hard to get right, specifically the Swap and Cooperative Tokens gave me a bit of trouble (the latter was the only token to never be handed out in the camp), but I ultimately found ones that were close enough.
The hardest one was actually the Immunity Token, which at first I thought didn't have highlights, but it actually does. Its main colour is pure red (#FF0000), but the highlights are red at 92% saturation, which makes them barely visible. Additionally I had to change the way the colours worked for this specific token, as for all other tokens the middle part of the side is the same as the main colour of the token, and the shading in the engraving is the same colour as the outline, but these didn't look right when I tried using them. Instead, the shading in the engraving is the same colour as the shaded part of the side, and the middle of the side is about 85% brightness of the main colour.
But yeah! I am really happy with how these turned out. I've been thinking about this for almost 6 years now but I've never had the energy to do it until now. Perhaps one day we will get access to these files so we can finally have the actual versions of these tokens, but for now I hope this can be the next best thing! I uploaded both high-quality .PNG versions and the actual .SVG files in this Google Drive:
